TPF Recruitment is recruiting fora VAT Manager / Senior Managerto join a marketleading firm of charteredaccountants in Maidstone within their Indirect Tax team. This leadingtoprated firm of chartered accountants provides accountancy tax corporatefinancial advisory and other services to a fantastic range of clients acrosscorporates professional practices notforprofit organisations and privateclients.
The business provides a range ofassurance and business services to a diverse client base ranging from smallbusinesses and startups to substantial international groups. Their clientportfolio includes businesses from a variety of different industry sectorsboth private and publicly listed businesses with a national remit butprimarily focused on the SouthEast from their Kent Office. Joining the Maidstone team as a VATManager / Senior Manager you will work within a regional team responsible forproviding a mixed VAT compliance and advisory service as well as:
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead in specific sectors dependent on their own areas of expertise and interests.
- This role is not just delivery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to marketing and business development too should they wish.
- Our client regularly provides client updates at physical events and webinars.
- This role will report into the VAT Partner and there is the opportunity for progression to director and beyond.
- A team of junior staff below this position and you will oversee and support them with their work and development.
- There is a significant amount of interaction with other lines of services (tax audit corporate finance etc).
Requirements
- You will be ACA/ACCA or ATT/ CTA qualified or qualified with experience with a strong background in indirect/VAT tax with experience gained within an accountancy practice environment or HMRC.
- You will have extensive VAT compliance and/or advisory experience.
