Responsibilities

As a Sales Development Representative you will find develop and create new business opportunities for our sales team. You will be responsible for internally coordinating the leads you develop. You will work with Account Representatives to ensure each lead has a highquality sales experience. You will work with leadership to prioritize your efforts against PowerSchools key objectives. You will be responsible for managing prebuilt personalized reports and communicating to your manager the progress against your efforts.

As an ideal candidate you are are ambitious motivated and determined for success towards a career in sales. You are process oriented organized able to provide solutions and effectively evaluate potential in all customer interactions. You are competitive and an overachiever; you are always wanting to do your best and give 110 in everything you set your mind to.

What will I be doing

  • Sourcing prospects and generating leads via coldcall
  • Working directly with our Inside and/or Enterprise Sales teams to pass along qualified opportunities
  • Developing a strong understanding of our prospects and learning solutionselling techniques
  • Proactively engaging and prospecting new business opportunities and customers: approximately 5060 outbound calls and 2030 emails per day
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed metrics as defined by the Sales Leadership Team

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Background in sales or lead generation a plus
  • Mindset to be coached trained and mentored toward a successful software sales career
  • Must have excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must have strong skills in MS Office
  • Desire to grow in a software sales career path

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $42200 $51800 USD plus applicable commission. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicants skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures degrees and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
