About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently seeking experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our Anaesthetics department on a part time basis a rotating roster including AM and PM shifts with an oncall requirement overnight and weekends) to deliver high patient quality care.This is an excellent opportunity to develop versatility in your skill set working within Anaesthetics.
Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a stateoftheart 340bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As an Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe researchedbased standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Minimum 1 year anaesthetic experience essential
Med and IV endorsed
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACSQHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
