Job Type: Part-time
Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
License(s): PMHNP preferred. FNP AGNP and other specialties strongly considered.
Location(s): Williamsburg VA
Company: PsychoGeriatric Services (PGS)
Compensation: Up to $62.50/hr
We collaborate with our facility partners to deliver evidence-based mental health care services including psychiatric assessments medication management psychotherapy crisis intervention hospital placements and treatment educational training and quality regulatory documentation.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide psychiatric care services at our partner facilities. This role offers an opportunity for meaningful flexible and autonomous work while making a significant impact on the lives of seniors in our community. Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site psychiatric assessments and medication management to patients in skilled nursing assisted living and other long-term care facilities.
- Consult educate and coordinate care with facility staff including nursing home administrator director of nursing and director of social services.
- Adhere to established regulations policies and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements
- Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care
- State license as nurse practitioner (required)
- Specialty as psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner (AGNP) (preferred)
- DEA license
- Availability to work during normal weekday business hours (no night or weekend on-call!)
- Ability to stand for 20 minutes
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
