Join Weyerhaeusers Longview Lumber team and make a difference! Longviews sawmill has immediate openings for entry level production workers for all shifts. The position pays $25.735/hour.

Key Functions to be performed safely:
- Manually sort and guide pieces of lumber on conveyors.
- Use shovel broom and/or equipment to clean up work areas.
- Run machinery that sorts cuts trims or finishes lumber.
- Operate a forklift.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be available to work any shift including nights and weekends.
- Must have a solid work history; industrial experience is a plus.
- Must attach a current resume to the application.
Candidate Requirements:
- Wear all safety equipment and obey all safety rules.
- Participate in safety initiatives including exhibiting safe work practices and helping others work safely.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain good attendance.
- Willing and able to learn new jobs and skills flow to work while treating all employees with respect.
- Be able to work in dusty and noisy conditions work from heights and in confined/restricted areas.
- Be able to lift 220 pounds regularly climb steps and ladders and stand or work up to 3 hours at a time for up to 810 hours.
- Successfully complete a preemployment drug screen background check and physical.(This position is designated by WY as asafetysensitive position.Please be advised that due to the designation you will be subject to preemployment testing for cannabis and its metabolites.
Compensation: Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site. We are targeting a pay range of $25.735/hour based on your level of skills qualifications and experience.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our companys 401k plan which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5 of your base salary.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: This position receives paid vacation eligibility in accordance with our union collective bargaining agreement. We offer paid vacation and holidays more information can be provided upon request.
