Job Description

Job Description Summary
Plan and facilitate lessons for Project Search using the Adult Education Content Standards. Focus on developing students work force and social skills and supporting their ability to function in the following context with increasing independence: Employment career exploration job applications interviewing skills soft skills etc.

Duties
1. Implement lessons designed to help students develop workplace readiness skills and strategies. 2. Maintain communications with students administrators and other staff. 3. Maintain student records related to the course. 4. Support overall needs of students related to enrollment persistence and completion.

Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelors degree; 2. Demonstrated experience in working with young adults with intelletual and developmental disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Certification and/or bachelors degree 2. Background in occupational therapy music/art therapy music/art education home economics vocational rehabilitation supported employment etc.
