Job Title: Director of Service
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management:Oversee and manage the HVAC service team including hiring training and performance evaluations.
- Operational Efficiency:Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and productivity.
- Customer Relations:Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Safety and Compliance:Ensure our safety culture is encouraged and enforced to maintain our goal of Zero Accidents.
- Inventory Management:Manage inventory and ensure necessary parts and equipment are available.
- Budgeting and Financial Oversight:Budget and manage labor & indirect cost. Responsible for signing off on bid temps and proposals.
- Service Strategies:Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
- Union Relations:Establish and maintain relationships with union representatives.
- Mentorship:Manage and mentor the service manager and operations manager providing guidance and support as needed.
- Performance Monitoring:Monitor service performance metrics and make datadriven decisions to improve service efficiency and quality.
- Client Relations:Establish and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Department Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of service delivery.
- Industry Trends:Stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve service offerings continually.
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements minimal experience computer skills required etc.
- A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in HVAC commercial service management
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of driving business growth and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
