Salary range: $200000 $230000
Eligibility to Work: To be eligible for this role applicants should be a Permanent Resident or have existing legal authorization to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
About the Role: We are looking for a Director of Machine Learning to guide our talented ML engineers and scientists. This role involves setting the technical vision for ML projects managing resources and ensuring the delivery of cuttingedge productionready AI solutions. If you have a deep understanding of machine learning a passion for leadership and experience driving impactful ML initiatives we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mentor and grow a team of machine learning engineers and scientists fostering a collaborative and highperforming environment.
Define and execute the machine learning strategy and roadmap identifying key areas for ML investment and development aligned with product goals.
Oversee the design development and implementation of scalable and reliable machine learning models and infrastructure.
Ensure the quality performance and scalability of machine learning systems through the implementation of robust testing monitoring and MLOps practices.
Work closely with product management engineering and research teams to integrate ML solutions into core products and services.
Drive technical excellence within the team promoting best practices in coding model development and deployment.
Manage project priorities timelines and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery of ML initiatives.
Communicate technical concepts and project status to stakeholders across the organization.
Contribute to the hiring and onboarding of ML talent.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of experience in machine learning with substantial experience (typically 3 years) in a leadership or management capacity.
Masters or Ph.D. in a relevant quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science AI Data Science or Statistics.
Expertise in various machine learning algorithms deep learning architectures and their application to realworld problems.
Strong understanding of MLOps principles and experience with deploying and managing ML models in production at scale.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and distributed ML training and inference.
Proven ability to lead technical teams mentor individuals and foster a strong team culture.
Excellent communication presentation and project management skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience contributing to the strategic planning and execution of ML initiatives.
