Join our compassionate team in the majestic West Kootenays and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As the Assistant Director of Care youll lead by example coordinating resident care to ensure the highest quality in a safe respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess resident needs and develop personalized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians families and community partners to provide holistic care
- Conduct audits lead care conferences and drive quality improvement initiatives
- Coach and educate nursing staff on industry best practices
- Foster a positive safe environment for both residents and team
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with active BCCNM registration
- Bachelors degree or equivalent nursing experience including 2 years in clinical leadership
- Proven expertise in gerontological nursing (35 years preferred)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificates; Clean criminal record check
