The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services BGS is a rapidly growing segment of the Boeing Company and the C17 G3 contract represents a key program within it. The G3 Program provides sustaining engineering in multiple engineering disciplines. This position will support equipment software development integration qualification and investigation of fielded software anomalies. We are seeking a MidLevel or Lead Test Program Set Engineer to work out of our Long Beach California office.
In this role the candidate will perform activities related to the development and integration of test program hardware and software products troubleshoot failing systems investigations into data related field issues and general support leading to a healthy C17 fleet maintenance posture.
A successful candidate in this position will have experience with electrical hardware basics of electromechanical design software development and general multidiscipline troubleshooting experience. The candidate must also be an excellent communicator exhibiting an ease with interfacing and working directly with customers and C17 Maintenance personnel as well as Boeing leadership. The candidate must be able to demonstrate general leadership skills. Test Program Set development experience is required and experience with automated test equipment and computer architecture are considered pluses.
