Position Summary: The Salesforce Product Manager based in Cleveland Ohio is responsible for overseeing the strategic development and onboarding of programs and projects into CHNs Salesforce instances plus managing the Salesforce platforms database architecture user management reporting and security. The Salesforce Product Manager will also provide advanced Salesforce support and grow CHNs capacity to maintain a complex and expanding Salesforce instance. We are seeking a dynamic and resultsoriented Salesforce Product Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of Salesforce projects while also contributing handson as part of the implementation team when needed. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs technical teams and endusers ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in the Cleveland Ohio office per week required. The rate of pay for this position is available upon request. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Product Management: - Lead the strategic development and onboarding of programs and projects onto a CHN Salesforce platform collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure programmatic needs and CRM goals align. This includes oversight of the project team throughout the process from discovery to the development of a budget and scope spec approval launch and end user training.
- Ensure system configurations align with organizational goals and meet stakeholder requirements through prototype reviews and user acceptance testing.
- Manage and coordinate the launch of system configuration changes or upgrades along with the coordination of postlaunch support and training.
- Partner with line of business leads to ensure the system supports CHNs programmatic priorities. Identify line of business Super Users and work with their supervisor to support their growth in this strategic area.
- With the VP of Programs ensure system(s) align with CHNs strategic initiatives and line of business priorities.
- Provide handson advanced administrative support in collaboration with the Salesforce Administrator and team.
Database Management: - Manage the Salesforce platforms database architecture including the data model data security and data standards to ensure high data quality and optimal system performance.
- Development and maintain system security policies procedures and guidelines.
- Identify develop manage and document data integration solutions between the Salesforce platform and other business systems both internal and external.
- Work with program and data team members to update tracking data collection and data warehousing strategy to ensure impact data is available for strategy development success measurement and program capacity decisions.
Team and Vendor Management: - Responsible for managing the Salesforce Administrator product and data teams.
- Provide encourage and participate in continuous professional development opportunities to ensure the team is informed on the latest developments in the IT industry and on the Salesforce platforms new tools capabilities applications and updates that could optimize existing system(s).
- Manage relationships with external vendors including consultants developers and middleware providers
Implementation: - Project Management:
- Lead the planning and delivery of Salesforce implementation projects ensuring timelines budgets and deliverables are met.
- Oversee crossfunctional teams including business analysts developers and administrators.
- Manage risks dependencies and resource allocations to ensure smooth project .
- Oversee the user experience design permissions licenses and training including setting up and configuring users groups profiles roles security and data sharing.
- Oversee a support system infrastructure for all internal and external users ensuring prompt resolution of system issues and a welldefined process for vetting and enacting system updates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external system developers advisors and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Required: Education: - BS/BA in related field or equivalent experience
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and related credentials
Experience: - Five to seven years of experience in Salesforce administration business analysis and/or database management
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff
- Five years of project management experience
Skills: - Advanced ability to lead a team build consensus and drive closure on corporate initiatives
- Advanced analytical evaluation and critical thinking skills
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills and customer service orientation
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and goals based on organizational need.
Other: - May be required to travel to attend meetings at local agencies or attend events. At times it may be necessary to travel on overnight trips to conferences educational sessions or corporate meetings.
Preferred: - Project Management Certificate
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
- Proficient in SOGL or SQL and Apex
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex Salesforce features such as automations configurations and reporting.
