Are you seeking an administrative professional opportunity where you will assist faculty and students with achieving their academic goals Our position as Senior Administrative Secretary for the Law School Registrars Office is your opportunity to be a big part of the law school experience. You will work alongside faculty staff and students to ensure excellent customer support and student experience. We are a diverse community of students staff and faculty at a Catholic Marianist research University in search of a candidate to provide outstanding service to our constituents with a high attention to detail care and pride in the work that is produced in this office. This is a full time benefit eligible position that offers health dental and vision insurance retirement disability tuition assistance vacation/sick accrual and holiday pay.
The Senior Administrative Secretary assists the Registrar of the School of Law in the management and daily operations of the Registrars office. This person is the first point of contact for students faculty staff visitors outside professional offices and callers when requesting information from the Registrars office. This position will fulfill other support functions including but not limited to updating the Registrars web page and assisting with graduation duties.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Office administration work experience.
High functioning knowledge of computers and Microsoft software.
Must have good written communication skills.
Must be willing to work some early mornings and possible evenings during peak
periods
of the semester.
Knowledge of Banner AppExtender/BDMS software Cascade or other web design
and
Google Docs system.
Registrar office experience.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
High level of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily and cyclical
responsibilities including the capability to multitask.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Work with little supervision.
Experience working with persons at all levels including
students staff faculty and outside constituents.
Demonstrated experience maintaining confidentiality especially with student
information.
Demonstrated and successful experience working with people from diverse
backgrounds.
Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic Marianist work environment.
