Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Improvement of automation on our current equipment and development of new automation solutions for our new equipment to have more productivity and efficiency
  • Making process flow value stream analysis/lean & world class manufacturing
  • Integration of AGV/Cobot in our system
  • Qualification & deployment of Robot/Cobot/AGV in Thales DIS sites
  • Writing acceptance document according to technical specification
  • Designing & conception validation
  • Database management & datas tracking management (BC reader integration vision & OCR control system)
  • Supporting the ERP equipment connection (Oracle other potential MES)
  • Writing technical solution documentation: user manual training procedure maintenance manual
  • Initiating & creating documentation of Cobot/Robot/AGV benchmark for our application
  • Selection of the best solution with local site & purchasing department
  • Suppliers communication & coordination during the project
  • Standardization & deployment: deploy on the different Thales DIS manufacturing sites (different shopfloor footprint) standard solution for the automation program

You need to have:

  • Experience in automotive industry or other technical industries (optics pharmaceutics packaging)
  • Higher technical education
  • Automatism & Robotic knowledge
  • Knowledge of equipment mechanical design
  • Experience in project management: documentation & coordination
  • Statistic know how (capability 6 sigma)
  • Lean concept know how
  • Good written & oral communication skills

You need to be:

  • Fluent in English
  • Mobile: position requires travelling for short mission 1 week/month) or longer mission 3 months) on different Thales site
  • Autonomous
  • Creative and curious
  • Able to work under pressure
