Job Description
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction management or related field Licensure as a registered professional engineer/architect Advanced working knowledge of design and construction administration including safety scheduling contract enforcement requests for information submittals change orders payments inspections occupant movein and contract closeout Experience with quality control and quality assurance (problem avoidance) through effective design review and proactive construction coordination Working knowledge of building systems including but not limited to architectural mechanical electrical life safety (fire alarm and sprinkler) site utilities security communications and conveyance systems Knowledge of NC building codes/standards and ordinances related to construction in the state government/university setting Experience with State Construction Office policies and procedures concerning the design procurement and construction of state assets Experience with collaboration communication and coordination as it relates to customer interaction/service campus stakeholder engagement and construction meetings (prebid bid opening preinstallation progress inspections and final occupancy)
Work Schedule
Monday Friday 8 am 5 pm
