Mercer is seeking candidates for our Reward & Executive Compensation Practice to join us as a Managerbased in Rome.

Our Reward Practice supports Clients in connecting their strategic business objectives and their implications for their Executive Compensation Rewards and Incentive Systems. Reward Consultants work with a wide range of clients to help them develop and implement reward programs for their employees providing expert advice on pay philosophy reward strategy incentive design market trends regulations and best practices. Drawing on global research and rigorous analysis Compensation Consultants equip our Clients part national and international listed and privatelyowned companies environment with guidance knowledge tools and support to ensure their reward programs reinforce their strategic objectives.

A Reward Manager makes an impact ready to manage projects work independently help teammates thrive and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.

What can you expect:

    • Manage client projects: prepare presentation and templates using project management tools estimates hours for the project team and prepare timelines for project milestones.

    • Conduct regular meetings and checkins with Csuite executives to understand their evolving needs and provide ongoing support and guidance acting as a strategic advisor.

    • Serve as an independent project manager for complex projects or modules and ensure client projects adhere to budget.

    • Prioritize project activities to manage the workload and meet project deadlines. Delegate project tasks in line with individual capability development needs and available analyst and associate resources. Lead both internal and client project status meetings.

    • Write engagement letters including project steps for more senior consultants review. Write project proposals and answer to Requests for Proposals. Serve as a primary client contact and build relationships with clients.

    • Conduct client interviews facilitate focus groups and deliver training.

    • Write and review client PowerPoint presentations/reports including Excel exhibits and initial conclusions on the data drawn by Associates.

    • Thought leadership: develop new tools and templates that can be leveraged in multiple markets such as new excelbased tools and templates for determining internal and external market competitiveness. Ensure intellectual capital generated within own projects is captured and available for others to draw on.

    Requirements:

    • Master Degree in Economics Organization Management and Engineering;

    • 10 years of experience in consulting or in HR functions of mediumlarge size companies with focus on Reward and Compensation;

    • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles practices and regulations;

    • Proven experience in client facing roles with commercial responsibilities and attitude to manage and lead teams with a cooperative approach;

    • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering highquality consulting services especially interacting with Csuite executives.;

    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a highperforming team;

    • Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;

    • Fluency in both Italian and English;

    • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Power Point Excel and Outlook);

    • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
