The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our dedicated team at a specialist complex autism school supporting children aged 319 years to learn thrive achieve and belong. As a Paediatric Senior Speech & Language Therapist you will be an integral part of our transdisciplinary team contributing to the planning adaptation monitoring and reporting of learners progress through their personalized study programs.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:
You will contribute to the planning adaptation monitoring and reporting of pupils personalized plans. You will assess and review learners speech language and communication needs in line with the assessment cycle. You will use specialist knowledge to recommend and develop individualized aids and adaptations to support speech language and/or communication. You will collaborate with other professionals within the transdisciplinary team to plan implement and evaluate targets and programs. You will provide advice and guidance on the development of employability skills and access to work placement opportunities.
