What You Will Do

Provide up to date communication and photos to Project Manager regarding status of work

Determine category of water loss

Extract water using truck mount and portable pumps

Assist in determination of nonrestorable building components

Assist with demolition of nonrestorable material

Set up drying equipment as per established procedures

Monitor drying process and adjust equipment as required

Work within on OnCall rotation for afterhours emergencies

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision

Ability to empathize with clients/customers who have experienced loss of personal property

What You Have

Water Restoration Technician Certification (considered an asset)

Clean Criminal Record Check

Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract

Experience driving/parking a panel van and cube truck

Ability to lift industrial fans 3040 lbs

Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers 75100 lbs

Knowledge of construction and basic building materials

Safely use power tools and hand tools

Experience in custodial work pressure washing carpet cleaning (considered an asset)
