Director of Nursing
We are seeking a qualified Director of Nursing DON for an immediate opening with our wellestablished organization located in Chautauqua County.

Job Responsibilities
The Director of Nursing (DON) develops implements and assesses goals and objectives for patient services that uphold quality standards and align with the overall mission and philosophy of the organization.
Additional responsibilities for the Director of Nursing include:
- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00PM (Flexibility in Schedule)
- Possible Night Shift or Weekend as Needed
- Responsible for the daytoday operations activities and successes of the patient care staff as governed by policy regulation and law.
- Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy and related rules standards and practices; establishes systems for care planning including assessments plans of treatment objectives and goals evaluations and discharge planning.
- Adheres to budget and staffing guidelines; and manages nursing staff.
- Supervision of Nursing Staff
Job Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Director of Nursing (DON) who is a team player committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. Strong organizational skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for this role.
Specific qualifications for the Director of Nursing DON role include:
- Graduate of Approved School of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- RN Licensed in NY
- At Least 2 Years in Leadership Role Preferred
- Long Term Care Experience
- Strong Clinical Skills
- No Field Requirements (Unless of an Emergency)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
