Were actively seeking a skilled Senior Accountant ready to bring their expertise and keen attention to detail to join the esteemed and expanding team at our clients reputable large accounting firm based in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.
As the successful candidate youll join our clients team as part of a dynamic accounting firm that fosters career growth and prioritizes your values and ambition while building meaningful client relationships. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing financial data overseeing team assignments and nurturing client relationships. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Assist in planning and completion of Review and Compilation engagements
- Complete period end accounting for clients
- Financial statement preparation
- Analyze financial information and operational procedures
- Coordinate tax return completion
- Provide attentive personalized client service and identify opportunities
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- 3 5 years in a professional services firm
- Canadian CPA designation completed or in progress with eligibility to work in Canada
- Selfmotivated and a team player
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proficient in clientfocused service
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- Experience with accounting software is advantageous
