As the team is growing we are looking for a Regional Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist to perform the following tasks:
Drive the optimization of regional financial processes and systems ensuring efficiency and scalability
Oversee financial operations for multiple locations within the region ensuring consistency and compliance with corporate standards and local regulations
Develop mange and control of regional budgets forecasts and financial plans aligning with organizational goals
Conduct indepth financial analysis to identify trends risks and opportunities providing actionable recommendations.
Implement and monitor internal controls across the region to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity
Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to develop and execute financial strategies.
Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements
Monitor and enhance internal controls to safeguard financial data and mitigate risks
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership
Plan and oversee internal and external audits for regional operations addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions
Evaluate the financial impact of new business initiatives expansions or acquisitions within the region
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field Masters degree preferred.
CPA CMA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
812 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles with at least 5 years in a regional or multilocation capacity
Strong expertise in financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance with international accounting standards (e.g. GAAP IFRS)
Proficiency in financial software (e.g. ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage crossfunctional teams and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
English (proficient) preferably local language (fluent)
Analytical abilities problemsolving skills and ability to think strategically
Excellent communication skills
An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational skills
Intercultural experience & skills
Interpersonal skills (power of persuasion conviction and wellargued reasoning proven to maintain & build up relationships and networks with relevant decision makers and stakeholders
