We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Finance Head to lead the financial operations at our site in Kaiseraugst. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting forecasting budgeting and decisionmaking processes to support business objectives. This position will require a dynamic leader with strong financial and business acumen and the ability to partner with senior leadership and crossfunctional teams to drive profitability efficiency and growth.
Job Description
  • Financial Leadership:
    • Lead and manage the sites finance function including budgeting forecasting and reporting.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to the sites leadership team ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to site management on all financial matters providing insights to optimize performance.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
    • Drive the annual budgeting process ensuring alignment with the sites operational and strategic plans.
    • Lead cost management initiatives and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.
  • Accounting & Compliance:
    • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards company policies and regulations.
    • Manage internal controls and ensure proper financial processes are adhered to in line with corporate governance and audit requirements.
    • Oversee tax reporting and compliance for the site collaborating with external advisors as needed.
  • Operational Support:
    • Partner with site operations teams to drive performance improvements cost control measures and capital expenditure planning.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze financial trends to inform decisionmaking.
    • Provide financial insight into production inventory and supply chain management supporting operational excellence.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and develop the local finance team fostering a collaborative and resultsdriven culture.
    • Provide mentorship and training to finance team members ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior management operations and external auditors.
    • Communicate financial performance and key issues to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a senior finance role
    • At least 5 years of experience in financial management with a strong background in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
    • Experience in managing a finance team and working with crossfunctional teams to drive business outcomes.
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
    • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills capable of explaining complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with MS Dynamics 365 is a plus.
