Job Description

Role:
We are seeking a skilled Game Artist with expertise in 2D/3D Animation & VFX to revitalise Hole. You must be passionate about motion and able to create compelling sequences gameplay and UI animations as well as toptier VFX. You understand how motion enhances a games quality and can finetune your work across a product to achieve the perfect holistic feel. Working closely with the Art Director you will ensure your work aligns with the overall vision and enhances new gameplay mechanics and features. You will have autonomy and ownership over your tasks proactively solving problems and collaborating with developers and artists to implement and enhance your work within the project.
- Create animatics and mockups to communicate your ideas.
- Take ownership over the runtime optimisation of all your work.
- Advocate and strive for top tier VFX and in game animation.
- Maintain a strong sense of graphic design and readability in all your work.
- Work closely with the Art Director to refine and develop the games tone and feel.
- Collaborate with the game team to ensure assets meet technical and artistic requirements.
- Ensure assets are delivered on time and to specifications.
- Stay uptodate with the latest motion trends technologies and tools.
Profile
- Highly skilled in Animation: Character UI VFX Motion design.
- Expert Unity knowledge
- Ability to handle basic 3D/2D file editing and creation (Proficiency in Blender is a plus).
- Experience working on mobile game projects at all stages of development.
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong animation and VFX skills specifically for mobile games is essential.
Nice to Have
- Experience with stylized or lowpoly art styles is a plus.
