The Department of Military Affairs is looking to hire an Office Associate located out of Camp Lincoln. This position underdirection of the Officer Personnel Management Branch Chief performs a variety of complex specialized clerical duties relating to military officer personnel management requiring extensive use and knowledge of scientific terminology and military regulations including confidential material; proofreads to assure correctness of form grammar spelling and punctuation. The Department of Military Affairs works with the members of the Illinois Air and Army National Guard. We welcome all interested applicants to apply.
1. Requires the ability to pass a DoD background investigation and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) prior to hire or transfer.
2. This position is considered sedentary work as defined by the US Department of Labor 20 CFR 404.1567(a). Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and requires occasional lifting carrying walking and standing.
