Job Description
Job Title: Experienced Cook Filipino Cuisine Specialist
Location: Guam US Territory
About us: Our client is a globally recognized restaurant chain expanding into Guam with a new location that promises to deliver exceptional flavors and dining experiences. To make this possible we are looking for a skilled Cook specializing in Filipino cuisine with a passion for culinary excellence.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience as a cook and proficiency in traditional and modern Filipino dishes. As a part of our culinary team you will be responsible for preparing highquality meals maintaining food safety standards and helping us achieve a blend of authentic flavors tailored to our diverse clientele. Candidates must be either a US Permanent Resident or US Citizen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cook and present authentic Filipino dishes according to our menu and recipes.
- Assist in developing new Filipinoinspired dishes for seasonal menus.
- Ensure food quality taste and presentation consistently meet company standards.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and food safety following Guam and U.S. regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adapt to international food trends while staying rooted in Filipino culinary traditions.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a cook in a restaurant hotel or catering setting.
- Expert knowledge of Filipino cuisine (both traditional and modern variations).
- Familiarity with other Asian or international cuisines is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be a US Permanent Resident or US Citizen.
- Flexible to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
