We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at an exciting fine dining restaurant located in the vibrant Heaton area of Newcastle upon Tyne. Known for its innovative approach to modern British cuisine the restaurant offers a seasonal set menu that showcases the best local and sustainable ingredients paired with a unique and creative dining experience.
Our venue is a Michelin Guidelisted restaurant renowned for its creative and seasonal menus. The restaurant focuses on making highend dining accessible to a wide audience offering a carefully curated sixcourse tasting menu. Led by an experienced chefowner with a background in some of the region s most esteemed kitchens the restaurant has quickly gained a reputation for exceptional service innovative dishes and a commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability.
As the Restaurant Manager you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant. Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing daily frontofhouse operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Leading training and motivating a dedicated team of frontofhouse staff
Managing reservations and maintaining a welcoming efficient and professional atmosphere
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless service
Handling customer feedback ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
Managing inventory ordering supplies and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
Upholding the high standards set by the chefowner and the team
We are looking for a candidate who is:
Experienced in managing fine dining or highquality restaurants
Passionate about delivering an outstanding dining experience
A strong leader with excellent communication and team management skills
Knowledgeable about sustainable and ethical sourcing practices
Able to work efficiently in a fastpaced dynamic environment
Enthusiastic about contributing to the restaurant s continued growth and success
