Department Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for being the subject matter expert champion and advocate for specific solutions or products within our overall portfolio. Their top priority is to radiate sales of a Video Security and Analytics solution within our overall product portfolio. Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales and adoption of new technologies and solutions. Strategically partners with Account Managers and serves as an overlay to help supplement their effort to drive nextgeneration solutions and services.
The Inside Sales is held accountable and incentivized for individual achievement of specific business targets and results. The Inside Sales is typically assigned to a geographic territory and is responsible for establishing a strong rapport and relationship with internal account teams and both existing and potential customers.
Job Description
- Sales Development Representative (SDR is a vital part of each sales team. We are the first point of contact for new clients. We provide resources for various regions globally. Our role includes assisting with project details and generating new business.
- Prospecting for new business by cold calling and generating new leads.
- Qualifying all existing leads in Salesforce and all the lead databases and resources set forth by the Inside Sales Manager that may be generated from sales trade shows telesales marketing referrals partners website consultants and call campaigns.
- Schedule coordinate and promote demo webinars in your assigned region as directed by the Inside Sales Manager.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual performance objectives for your assigned territory.
Additional Knowledge/Skills:
- Proactively utilize strong problemsolving skills to deliver customerfocused solutions.
- Educate customers on respective business processes and procedures and proactively continue to understand products & solutions.
- Demonstrate active listening and consultative selling skills when promoting additional products and services.
- Display strong verbal communication skills through daily customer interaction.
- Exercise multitasking skills when managing multiple systems and applications during customer interaction.
- Utilize internal business tools and applications to effectively qualify and resolve the customers issues. This involves multitasking between systems while interacting with the customer.

Basic Requirements
Education and Qualifications
- Preferred experience with technology sales cold calling and webinars
- Preferred Salesforce CRM and Outreach tool experience
- Some travel may be required during the of the duties
- Proven sales achievementin a remote selling environment a PLUS
- Experience developing collaborative relationships
- Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Windows or Google based applications
Experience
- One or more years of experience within an Inside Sales organization
