Description

The Nueva Lower School is currently seeking a fulltime lead teacher who is passionate about integrated projectbased learning. This person will collaborate with a grade level team to develop and teach curricula related to the yearlong theme while also supporting the development of reading writing and philosophy skills. They will colead the students in hosting a yearend culmination. In May the class participates in a threenight overnight trip and this teacher will cochaperone. Additional responsibilities for all fulltime teachers include supporting student wellbeing developing and delivering differentiated curriculum teaching collaboratively writing narrative progress reports maintaining a weekly parent blog and mentoring an associate teacher.

Compensation

The fulltime equivalent salary range for this position is $79200 $145900. The starting salary is based upon but not limited to several factors that include type and years of experience education level and expertise.
