Job Description
About the Job:
This person will be a doitall type engineer this person will be working at a quicklygrowing food additives company that has a newtomarket drying technology. In the past year theyve grown by 2x (from $10MM to about $17MM). The primary focus of this role will be process improvement or as the hiring manager put it grab low hanging fruit. Secondarily this person will be evaluating operating using data analysis techniques troubleshooting offspec materials and production errors. This company has a large team of R&D chemists and this role will also get involved in commercialization of new products and processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. Chemical Engineering required
- 3 years of postcollege industry experience out of foods chemicals pharmaceuticals or other related industries
- It would be a good thing if someone knew drying technologies mixing/blending technologies FDA/cGMP regulations etc
- This person should be able to demonstrate a track record of creative thinking and strong chemical engineering fundamentals
