Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our companys adherence to a broad range of regulatory requirements with a particular focus on EU US and UK laws. This role requires a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Monitoring and Analysis: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory developments including but not limited to export controls (dual use regulations) AI (e.g. EU AI Act) and other relevant areas (such as privacy anticorruption and sustainability). Assess the impact of these changes on the companys operations and provide strategic guidance on compliance programs.
  • Compliance Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs policies and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance gaps particularly on export controls and artificial intelligence matters. Prepare and present reports on compliance activities risks and incidents to Senior Management.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with Legal Sales Product Engineering and other teams to provide regulatory guidance on new initiatives and projects and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee understanding of regulatory requirements and promote a compliancefocused mindset.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities industry groups and other external stakeholders. Represent the companys interests and proactively engage in industry discussions.

Job Requirements:

  • Masters degree in law international trade business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a compliancerelated role preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Indepth knowledge of EU law and regulations particularly in areas such as data privacy AI and export controls.
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Fluency in English and French.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology sector.
  • Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
