Senior Technical Trainer

Were looking to hire a multitalented technical trainer who is a CMS expert with a keen understanding of major commerce and marketing technology platforms and current web technologies. Someone who can help us continue to create the industrys most creative impactful and engaging learning experiences. Experience creating howto videos is a plus.

This role will report into the Sr. Director of Product Adoption and Growth based in Sydney Australia but will also work very closely with the Global Learning Services team.

• Because you are a fast learner and have lots of relevant experience you will quickly become a Contentful expert (if youre not one already).
• You will deliver virtual and inperson workshops (across APAC) to Contentful customers and partners on Contentful architecture and features content modeling best practices using Contentful APIs and SDKs CI/CD strategies extending the Contentful environment with apps and other topics. 
• You will inspire customers and partners to become enthusiastic fans of Contentful by communicating a compelling vision of Contentfuls features value proposition and the strategic role that content infrastructure plays in facilitating digital transformation. 
• You will serve as a Contentful subject matter expert and technical resource for the Learning Services team helping the team design new learning experiences document best practices and create helpful tools jobaids code samples and other resources for Contentful users.
• You will create training curriculum for new and existing product capabilities and record videos that can be incorporated into training or learning curriculum. 
• You will establish a relationship of trust with Contentfuls product management and development teams that will enable you to communicate customer needs use cases challenges and feedback in a way that drives improvement of the Contentful product.
• You will seek continuous improvement in the areas of operational excellence scalability efficiency and learning effectiveness

• Bachelors degree in a learning or technologyrelated field
• 25 years experience as a Solution Architect or other technical role required preferably in a customer and/or partnerfacing capacity
• Experience working with Contentful Contentstack Sanity other APIfirst composable content systems preferred. Drupal AEM or Sitecore experience also preferred
• Understanding of major commerce and marketing technology platforms
• Proven experience with current web technologies (React or other JavaScript libraries/frameworks REST and GraphQL APIs cloudbased microservices architecture etc. 
• Experience working with content personalization experimentation and analytics tools
• Strong understanding of composable/MACH architecture and methodologies
• Agency/SI implementation partner experience a plus
• You have both presentation and facilitation skills. You can present material in an engaging way read a room and think on your feet. But you also can guide learners through a discovery process without being the sage on the stage. 
• You have excellent educational instincts and have created instructorled courses and other learning materials.
• You have experience delivering in both facetoface and virtual instruction/webinar formats.
• You are wellorganized and can easily guide large projects through various stages of development while still meeting tight deadlines
• Up to 25 travel including international may be required.
