Associate Director of Content: Arts & Content Integration
$85629 $100740 annually

The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) seeks to fill Associate Director of Content: Arts & Content Integration. This fulltime position is based in Olympia Washington.This position may be eligible for partial to near fulltime telework. Telework is a combination of inbuilding and offsite days. Position Overview:
The Elementary Early Learning and Federal Programs (EELFP) team is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the next Associate Director of Arts and Content Integration. This role is dedicated to ensuring every child has equitable access to a highquality arts education. The successful candidate will play a key role in the review revision and implementation of Arts learning standards collaborate closely with educators and bring expertise in crosscontent integration data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
Key responsibilities include providing statewide leadership in arts education through policy development budgeting and legislative initiatives. This role focuses on building strong partnerships overseeing assessments and leveraging OSPI data to improve programs and maintain essential resources. Additionally the position ensures clear and timely communication accurate reporting and effective management of legislative tasks.Collaboration and Partnerships:
Work collaboratively with education partners to advance arts education ensuring equity access and compliance. Lead initiatives professional development and curriculum guidance to promote culturally responsive instruction. Provide expertise in policy advising legislative analysis and strategic planning to strengthen arts education statewide.
Learning Standards:
Drive the implementation of arts standards curriculum development and professional learning initiatives. Collaborate with education staff to align resources and create highquality arts materials that support educators.
Content Integration:
Promote content integration and interdisciplinary learning by developing strategic initiatives offering expert guidance and curating highquality open educational resources (OER) to support educators.
Assessment Communication Data Analysis & Reporting:
Provide guidance on arts assessment policy and initiatives with a strong focus on embedding diversity equity and inclusion.

Compensation
The annual compensation for the position is$85629 $100740per year and depends upon experience educational background and qualifications. Geographic differentials may be applied based on work location of successful candidate. Washington State offers a generous benefit package including health dental and life insurance retirement and an optional deferred compensation program.
