Job Description

MidLevel Employment Litigation Associate Seattle WA

Our client is seeking a MidLevel Employment Litigation Associate with 35 years of experience to join their Seattle office. This position offers a unique opportunity for an attorney with strong litigation skills to defend employers in highstakes employment disputes while also providing daytoday workplace legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent employers in litigation matters involving discrimination wrongful termination restrictive covenants and wage and hour disputes
  • Draft discovery initial pleadings dispositive motions and agency position statements with a high level of persuasive advocacy
  • Provide strategic advice on workplace policies and employment law compliance
  • Manage multiple cases and projects in a fastpaced environment
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategy and risk mitigation plans

Qualifications:

  • 35 years of employment litigation experience preferably defending employers
  • Strong writing and analytical skills with demonstrated advocacy in motion practice and litigation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment
  • Admission to the Washington Bar and a JD from an ABAaccredited law school is required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $165000 $190000 (actual compensation based on experience skills and qualifications)
