Job Description
At Fonoa we are transforming how digitalfirst companies stay tax compliant. We provide simple and modular API solutions that easily integrate into any existing workflow. Through our technology first approach we reduce manual processes increase compliance and reduce the cost of operations when transacting and scaling internationally.
We are solving one of the largest yet unsolved problems in global ecommerce. Our tax automation software enables companies such as Uber ZoomBooking Squarespace and Rappi to expand their international offerings more quickly and stay tax compliant.
Fonoa makes digital reporting and einvoicing simple for businesses allowing them to report transactions and generate einvoices in realtime across countries with one standardized solution. We are looking for a Senior Manager Einvoicing to lead our product into the future and to help us with our gotomarket efforts.
In this role you will be responsible for scoping and then building the tax technical content of our product as we expand country coverage. You will provide a vision and help our product teams to understand the future of digital reporting. This includes all digital reporting requirements governments impose worldwide where realtime nearrealtime or even periodic exchange of information is mandated.

What you will do :
- Scope and build the tax technical content of our product as we rapidly expand country coverage
- Provide a vision and help our product teams to understand the future of einvoicing and digital reporting This includes all digital reporting requirements governments impose worldwide where realtime nearrealtime or even periodic exchange of information is mandated
- In addition to partnering with our product teams you will bridge the knowledge gap between the Tax Sales and Marketing teams
- Help us better deliver our value proposition and content to the tax community
You will be a great fit if:
- You have extensive experience in einvoicing
- Experience researching and implementing einvoicing and digital reporting solutions either inhouse or at a thirdparty provider
- Ability to support the Product team with research and communicate technical tax issues clearly to nontax team members (e.g. engineers sales and marketing)
- Comfortable presenting and discussing digital reporting with audiences of all sizes from whiteboarding sessions with clients to presentations at industry events
- Handson with team ops. We expect all our team members to have an active practical involvement in daily business operations
- Be a clear strategic and inspiring communicator and expert in your field.
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment where flexibility adaptability and positivity are key
- Like to solve problems turning complex problems into simple solutions
- Native or close to native proficiency in English secondary languages are a plus
