Position Summary
Dr. Rich Holden invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position to join his interdisciplinary research team in the Center for Health by Design and the Department of Health & Wellness Design both in the School of Public HealthBloomington SPH B) at Indiana University . Dr. Holdens research program pursues better health by design by developing and testing health interventions for health promotion disease prevention and care delivery. We are a federallyfunded interdisciplinary team applying expertise from social and behavioral sciences systems engineering informatics humancentered design and the health professions. Key areas of research include medication safety; mobile health sensors and other technologies; aging and family caregiving; chronic disease care; lifestyle behavior interventions; humancentered and participatory design; clinical trials; and implementation research. The position will provide mentored research training and experience to those who aspire to a researchintensive academic career. Fellows will receive mentoring from Dr. Holden and a team of faculty from the Center for Health by Design. Fellows will be able to lead both existing and new research projects. Dr. Holden is a Professor Assistant Dean for Faculty Success and Director of the Center for Health by Design. He is a dedicated mentor with a track record of mentees winning NIH / AHRQ K awards and independent funding earning tenuretrack faculty positions publishing and receiving awards.
