Job Description
FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY (FVSU) a state and land-grant institution of the University System of Georgia invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate in Food Science and Technology.

JOB SUMMARY
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available immediately for two-three years for a project on food quality issues with pecans at the Agricultural Research Station under the College of Agriculture Family Sciences and Technology.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Conducting experiments related to the projects objectives.
- Responsible for analyzing research data and interpreting results.
- Responsible for preparing technical reports and submitting manuscripts in a timely manner for both project documentation and peer-reviewed publication.
- Train and mentor graduate students involved in the research.
- Assist in writing research proposals to support ongoing and future projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology or a closely related field.
