Salary Range: $62000 - $65000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position isExempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Summary

The Embedded Systems Security Lab within the Department of Computer Science seeks a PostDoctoral Research Associate to conduct fundamental research activities and participate in academic training.

Primary functions of the Research Associate include: attending regular meetings with the faculty supervisor; reading academic papers; writing reviews of academic papers; creating research infrastructure; conducting data collection statistical analysis and data interpretation to evaluate scientific hypotheses; preparing academic papers for publication; attending conferences and workshops; preparing whitepapers and proposals for grant applications; presenting research outcomes orally; and mentoring student researchers. The positions key responsibilities are to interact with UCCS students and faculty in the Embedded Systems Security Lab and in the Department of Computer Science and to work on-site at UCCS to complete the positions primary functions.

This position is dependent on the availability of external grant funding. Funding is currently expected to last three months.
