About the role
Our First Nations team are actively souring multiple Cultural Specialists to join their team in Katherine on a fulltime or parttime basis. This role attracts a salary of $35.17 $38.37 / hour gross (approx. $69500 $75800 full time per year)
This role will see you working to support the delivery of our First Nations programs to ensure our First Nations residents and clients to remain connected to their culture and country. You will work with other ARRCS staff in providing culturally sensitive activities and information to support our elderly residents.
This role would suit a selfstarter who is proactive and able to work independently. You will be comfortable in working on a fulltime or parttime basis and able to commit to a set roster of shifts and hours. Some travel across the NT maybe required in this role.
As the successful candidate you will identify or have close cultural connection with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders. You will ideally be able to speak local dialect and have strong knowledge of local traditions.
