Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Program Manager (Credit Product Portfolio Senior Manager) to lead HysterYale Group Financial Services (HYGFS) a $1B joint venture between Wells Fargo Financial Leasing and HysterYale Materials Handling (HYMH) with responsibilities including but not limited to senior level engagement on program matters strategic planning and tactical to ensure product offering and service levels meet the needs of HYMH and its Dealer Network.


In this role you will:

  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of functional area to meet to highrisk deliverables; interpret and develop policies and procedures for function with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy in building and maintaining effective relationships with existing clients within their product(s) or functional area including sharing relevant information with coverage team partners
  • Lead the team to review and analyze moderate to highly complex and strategic client portfolios for key issues related to cash flow liquidity leverage working capital debt coverage collateral/enterprise value analysis and repayment sources including for use in periodic reviews as well as interim underwriting memoranda
  • Interact directly with external clients within the context of individual deals and client relationships and develop a team to anticipate and understand clients businesses strategic objectives operational priorities and financial positions to identify opportunities for modifications renewals and refinancings
  • Manage a team of individuals and provide leadership for moderate to highly complex modifications renewals and refinancings including assessing a clients financial position and risk level for both prospective clients and existing clients
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers to lead the strategy and resolution of moderate to highly complex scenarios and unique challenges by synthesizing industry and economic trends including legal and regulatory issues in addition to regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions where applicable
  • Ensure the initial set up and management of the portfolio adheres to all applicable credit policies or compliance requirements and prepare for periodic exams by internal and external auditors
  • Partner with product management functional partners to provide vision leadership and industry expertise on evolving market needs leading to the development of significant crossfunctional process improvement and risk control development
  • Provide leadership and expertise on multifaceted issues to multiple levels of management and lead a team to implement significant solutions new product initiatives and influence financial operations
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives for area of responsibility


Required Qualifications:

  • 6 years of secured and/or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management or leadership experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
  • 3 years of management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage large scale products/programs in a complex environment across multiple lines of business
  • Strong Knowledge and Understanding of Equipment/Vender Finance
  • Commercial Banking Experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of credit analysis principles
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats to senior leaders
  • Detail oriented; ability to translate strategy into actionable steps across teams
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence and lead change
  • Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates enhances understanding and influences decisions
  • Demonstrated experience fostering strong partnerships promoting teamwork and influencing others


Job Expectations:

  • Up to 30 Travel
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
  • Willingness to work onsite at stated location on the job opening.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
