Job Summary:
The Franchise Operations Manager will be a key member of the AutismCOE Franchise support team based at our Richmond VA clinic. This role involves guiding new franchisees through the onboarding process delivering comprehensive training programs and providing ongoing operational support. The manager will also assist with activities at the Richmond clinic and leverage firsthand operational experience to develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for future franchisees. This role requires a highly organized communicative and proactive individual with a strong understanding of business operations and a passion for supporting others in the ABA therapy field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the franchisee onboarding process from franchise award through clinic opening.
- Develop and deliver initial and ongoing training programs for franchisees and their key staff covering operational procedures business management and utilization of support resources.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for franchisees for operational questions and guidance during the preopening and initial operating phases.
- Provide support and resources to franchisees in areas such as site selection assistance vendor relationships and local marketing execution.
- Assist franchisees with implementing AutismCOEs standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Based at our Richmond VA Center assist with various clinic operational activities as time permits.
- Leverage first hand observation and experience at the Richmond clinic to develop document and refine comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all franchise operations.
- Monitor franchisee progress against key milestones during the preopening phase.
- Gather feedback from franchisees to contribute to the continuous improvement of the franchise system and support programs.
- Collaborate with other members of the franchise support team (e.g. Clinical Support Marketing) to ensure a coordinated support approach for franchisees.
- Maintain accurate records of franchisee interactions and support provided within the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in business operations project management or a related support role.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate business processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant business software.
- A strong understanding of the franchise business model is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare or education sector particularly with multisite operations or ABA therapy clinics is beneficial.
- Passion for the mission of AutismCOE and the impact of ABA therapy is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively within a clinic environment and contribute to daily operations.
