Job Description
3 to 5 years of software support experience preferably in supporting highly scalable secure and highperformance applications
good knowledge and understanding of MS Windows and RHEL
experience in at least one programming language like Python C# or Java
experience operating monitoring and supporting applications
a good understanding of continuous integration tools such as: GIT and Azure
continuous Improvement mindset you like to challenge yourself and the team
team player attitude with very good communication skills.
English level B2/C1
Youll get extra points for:
basic knowledge and experience in Agile (ex. Scrum methodology)
experience with FIX protocol
financial markets experience.
Your responsibilities:
incidents tickets and requests management solving & dispatching
daily operation (mailbox monitoring) and applications monitoring
tasks automation process improvements
monitoring and reporting database performance
meetings (Scrum events)
implementation improvement and management the release pipeline including automated testing (functionally nonfunctionally).
Information about the squad:
For our team in Poland we are looking for a experienced DevOps engineer with a strong focus on business support as well as backend technology who will maintain and improve INGs trading platforms.
The team is responsible for the Fidessa and Ullink platforms within ING Financial Markets. The Ullink platform provides lowlatency connectivity smart routing order management and trading solutions across asset classes. Fidessa is a fully hosted service provided by ION for trading on the European Equity markets. Fidessa provides trade order and position management together with connectivity to a range of exchanges buy and sellside clients and Back Office systems.
The teams primary goal is to support the business and deliver scalable and robust IT solutions. The team is responsible for the full technology stack like (automated) testing (automated) deployment Problem and Incident management IT Risk and the development of scripts. All tasks will be realized in the Agile framework in 2 weeks sprints. Please send your CV in English.
