Develops relationships with property managers and owners to secure housing leads via cold calling sales prospecting existing relationship and referrals and AAGLA contacts.
Educate landlords on the benefits of participating in housing programs and provide support throughout the leasing process.
Negotiate lease terms and advocate on behalf of clients to secure housing.
Determine and offer appropriate incentive packages to landlords based on unit location and willingness to remove barriers.
Coordinate with landlords and property managers on risk mitigation issues.
Collects and documents landlord information needed to meet contractual requirements and conducts unit inspections.
Strategizes and identifies new housing opportunities beyond traditional onebedroom apartments.
Educates landlords on the Housing First model and TLS program advocates for fair market rents and conducts outreach to community organizations.
Follow up with property owners to ensure sustainability of relationships.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Tracks housing trends and progress shares housing listings and uploads data for reporting purposes
Maintain unit inventory in LAHSAs housing portal.
Work closely with LAHSA Unit Acquisition Housing Coordinators and service providers to ensure support and timely connection to units.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies procedures and fair housing regulations.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Strong sales experience
Indepth knowledge of the housing market including trends and rates
Understanding of the real estate investment industry
Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with LA neighborhoods
Knowledge of tenant/landlord laws and regulations
Effective problemsolving skills
Strong advocacy skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Fluency in Spanish preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with housing database systems.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel to meet with landlords clients and community partners.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Schedule
The Chief Executive Officer or designee may change the schedule of positions between remote hybrid and onsite as necessary to accomplish LAHSAs business needs.
