Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist drivers in loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Verify and organize delivery items to ensure accuracy before departure.
- Deliver tortillas to restaurants stores and other customer locations ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Handle invoices receipts and other paperwork accurately ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle during and after each route.
- Communicate professionally with customers addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist with mapping and navigating delivery routes to avoid delays.
- Follow safety protocols when handling products and during vehicle stops.
- Perform general labor tasks such as carrying lifting and stacking items.
- Support drivers in addressing ontheroad issues or changes to the delivery schedule.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 2550 lbs.
- Frequent bending reaching and standing throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions during deliveries.
- Previous experience in delivery assistance warehouse work or customer service is a plus.
- Steel toe boots are required.
