What does a Technical Writer do
As a Technical Writer you will own the technical documentation for a selection of Sealed Air Cryovac packaging machines. Your role is essential in ensuring that machine manuals instructional materials and training documents are clear accurate and userfriendly. You will collaborate with project managers suppliers and internal teams to create and maintain highquality documentation.

Our packaging machines require precise comprehensive documentation to ensure smooth operation maintenance and troubleshooting for customers worldwide. We need an experienced Technical Writer who can:
- Ensure that all manuals meet EU Technical Documentation Standards and Machinery Directives.
- Provide clear and structured documentation that enhances user experience and reduces downtime.
- Support our global teams by maintaining multilingual and uptodate materials.
- Contribute to the digital transformation of our technical content.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the machinery industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Framemaker Adobe CC.
- Experience with SolidWorks tools Composer PDM and 3D CAD is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of EU Technical Documentation Standards and Machinery Directives.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a matrix environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in English (documentation master language) and German.
