Job Description

- Supervise a team of technical experts and specialists in a broad range of technical sectors
- Oversee all technical aspects of the activity ensuring performance meets targets and client expectations
- Build and manage successful working relationships with numerous stakeholders and partners
- Mainstream GBV considerations across all project activities to ensure the different needs, constraints, capacities, and priorities of survivors, CSOs, and marginalized groups targeted by the project are understood and addressed during the work planning and implementation stages
- Consult with and serve as a technical resource to the technical team on GBV and other considerations affecting legal reform, police investigations/training, health systems strengthening, mental health psychosocial services (MHPSS) and case management
- Design and oversee assessments that identify and address structural barriers and social norms that limit access to justice sector institutions, legal services and information for women, children, vulnerable groups, and other survivors of domestic violence
- Propose innovative pilot mechanisms to test interventions that support the provision of sustainable, survivor-centric essential services
- Draft quarterly/annual reports and other technical deliverables
- Stand in as Acting Chief of Party as necessary
