Tax Accountant

Job Description

• Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules.
• Prepare Payroll tax payments and VAT form in addition to WHT form 41.
• Recommends tax strategies by researching local taxation issues.
• Maintains legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws.
• Follow up and finalize any tax disputes at all stages.
• Dealing with the recent tax authorities regulations.
• Revises procedures by developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for calculation of tax provisions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Continuously update list of customers that are exempted from VAT or subject to 0 VAT.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as corporate taxes officer/accountant.
• VAT Tax background.
• Excellent knowledge in the national tax law with a high level of up-to-date tax issues, IFRS, very good accounting knowledge.
