- Interview members/clients to determine financial position, resources, and assets available to invest towards financial goals
- Counsel clients on purchase or sale of securities, financial/insurance services and investment plans in or separate from a retirement plan
- Service client inquiries by effectively working with operations support personnel at vendors and broker-dealer to ensure a high quality service and member satisfaction
- Prospect for potential clients using advertising/marketing campaigns, seminars, mailing lists, personal contacts, referrals, center of influence, etc.
- Refer members/clients who need credit union products and services to the correct department or person (for example: mortgage, consumer loan, credit card, deposit account, etc.)
- Create, maintain, and retain client files with appropriate information and in accordance with FINRA and SIPC compliance standards, broker-dealer policy, and OSJ requirement
