Infrastructure Platforms Engineer Canberra Australia (Open to candidates anywhere in Australia)
Clearance: Australian Citizen with Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Platforms Engineer to support and enhance critical infrastructure services. The role involves working with Microsoft Azure M365 Dynamics 365 and DevOps platforms managing data centres hardware storage backup virtualisation and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Centre Management Support oversee infrastructure operations and maintenance.
- Hardware & Server Management manage HPE Synergy Dell and other enterprise hardware.
- Storage Management deploy configure and manage storage systems including HPE NetApp Dell Data Domain and Brocade Fabric Switches.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery configure and maintain Veeam software and Dell Data Domain.
- Virtualisation & Automation work with VMware vSphere vRealize VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator NSXT and related tools.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in designing and managing Azurebased cloud environments.
- Experience implementing cloud workload solutions on the Azure platform.
- Ability to collaborate with enterprise architecture cybersecurity and cloud operations teams to secure design approvals.
- Understanding of information security concepts and best practices including Information Security Manual (ISM) compliance.
- Experience with Azure AI ML Cognitive Services DevOps CI/CD Integration Solutions and API/ServicesOriented Architecture.
- Ability to work with limited guidance in an Agile environment.
Work Eligibility:
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Must hold or have the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
