Business Analyst Role Description:
- The candidate must ideally have strong experience as a BA (Agile Story creation Workflow analysis AS IS and TO BE mapping Supporting UAT etc.
- Elicit requirements using interviews document analysis requirements workshops surveys site visits business process descriptions use cases scenarios business analysis and task and workflow analysis
- Assist in functional validation manage scope and create training / handover documentation
- Managing the requirements from initiation to closure by working closely with business stakeholders and technology delivery teams
- Collaborate with the User Experience Designers to convert requirements to actionable prototypes. Verify and iterate the prototypes to ensure the prototypes cover the endtoend functional requirements
- Create and manage requirement specification documents (BRD FRS etc. or epics & stories to ensure the functional requirements are well documented
- Validate features for functional accuracy and adherence to definition of done
- Partner with Clients in endtoend testing and user acceptance testing
- Obtaining stakeholder buyin and signoff on requirements
- Meeting stakeholder’s need and following project budget/time constraints
- Create business value through the solution proposed and implemented
- Lead discussion with the project team to clearly identify results needed to achieve business goals and needs
- Proactively suggest process and system improvements/ recommendations which create sustainable business value
- Adhere to change management standards and procedures
Generic Required Qualification:
- MBA with 6 years of proven experience in a Business Analyst Role covering end to end project lifecycle on one or more digital platform
- Industry knowledge of Digital ecosystems with extensive experience in one or a combination of the following digital platforms for Web Content Management Mobility Enterprise Content Management Ecommerce & Collaboration
- Ability to articulate complex concepts/ requirements in a clear manner
- Ability to structure a large amount of information into detailed business requirements documentation by applying analysis methodologies and using documentation tools: process flows data analysis business use cases and user stories
- Fair understanding of SDLC methodologies – Agile Waterfall etc. and the role of BA
- Knowledge and experience working in an Agile Scrum development process
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision. Must be a selfdirected selfsufficient analyst with demonstrated initiative sense of urgency and ability to come up to speed as a subject matter expert in a very short timeframe gaining customer confidence.
