Job Description
Job Title: Finance & Accounting Manager
Location: Remote (latam)
Salary Range: USD $2000 $2500
Job Type: FullTime
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detailoriented Finance & Accounting Manager to support our financial and operational functions. This role blends bookkeeping financial analysis and financial data management.. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple areas of financial management enjoys solving problems and has strong technical skills in spreadsheets and financial knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Bookkeeping
- Reconcile expenses and maintain accurate financial records using Quickbooks
- Track and categorize expenses to ensure clarity in financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Assist in financial audits and compliance documentation.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Generate Profit & Loss (P&L) statements by month service line and other relevant metrics.
- Manage cash flow and develop Cash Flow Statement
- Develop financial projections and run various financial calculations.
- Analyze invoicing data and other financial trends to support decisionmaking.
- Provide insights into costsaving opportunities and revenue optimization.
- Lead weekly meetings with CEO and COO on the financial health of the company.
- Lead monthly meetings with CEO and COO to review P&L statements.
Data & Spreadsheet Management
- Build and manage complex Excel/Google Sheets models including formulas macros pivot tables and automation tools.
- Organize and visualize financial data to support strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency with QuickBooks required.
- 2 years of experience in bookkeeping financial analysis accounting or related fields.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with experience using advanced formulas pivot tables and macros.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial records accurately.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
- Prior experience in education or NYC finance is a plus.
