Our client a leading midtier chartered accounting firm is renowned for its exceptional Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) division. With a strong presence across Queensland and throughout Australia they are recognised as one of the state's top advisors in acquisitions and corporate finance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work alongside a seasoned partner in a multi skilled team It provides handson experience in deal sourcing financial analysis and transaction while contributing to highprofile projects across Queensland.

As the firm continues to grow they are seeking a driven M&A Specialist to assist with lead generation and new business development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new leads in collaboration with the M&A team
  • Evaluate and execute transactions including acquisitions divestments and capitalraising initiatives
  • Prepare essential deal documentation including information memorandums and management presentations
  • Conduct financial analysis build valuation models and draft indicative valuation reports
  • Manage the transaction lifecycle by working closely with the team and maintaining communication with stakeholders vendors and bidders

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field.
  • 5 years' experience in M&A or an accountant in a Big4 firm
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • CA or CPA qualification (or working towards) is preferred
